About the Conference

The Nigeria Implementation Science Alliance (NISA) invites researchers, program implementers, policymakers, community organizations, and students to register and submit abstracts for presentation at NISA 2025.

The conference will spotlight innovative strategies and evidence-based practices that translate research into sustainable health outcomes across multiple disease areas and system challenges.

Conference Tracks and Subthemes

1. Integrated Disease Program Implementation:

·        Integrated delivery models for HIV, TB, NCDs, and NTDs

·        Strengthening Mental Health, Cancer, and Sickle Cell Disease responses

·        Climate resilience in disease control programs

2. Community, Equity, and Learning Health Systems:

·        Advancing community ownership and engagement in health programs

·        Equity-focused implementation approaches

·        Building and sustaining learning health systems through data use

·        Addressing Social and Behavioral Determinants of Health to Improve Health Equity and Outcomes

3. Innovations in Digital Health, Pharmaceuticals, and Supply Chains:  

·        Scaling up digital innovations for disease surveillance and management

·        Strengthening pharmaceutical supply chains and promoting local drug manufacturing

·        Leveraging AI and big data for health system improvements

4. Leadership, Policy, and Sustainable Financing:

·        Translating policies (e.g., ATM transition, UHC) into implementation

·        Innovative models for domestic health financing and accountability

·        Building leadership for implementation science and health system strengthening

5.Maternal and Child Health Innovations

·        Innovations to reduce maternal mortality

·        Immunization strategies and zero-dose approaches for child survival

·        Integrating maternal and child health into health systems

·        Strengthening the healthcare workforce in maternal and child health
